“More first-year college students have concerns about their ability to finance college than at any time since 1971, according to the CIRP Freshman Survey, UCLA’s annual survey of the nation’s entering students at four-year colleges and universities.”

Find out what else freshman are concerned about and the wide impact of those concerns.

More on the road with Kory

Hey everyone, it’s Kory reporting on my adventures in Central Neb again.  Today I visited Eustis and Elwood, and I must admit that I was very tempted to spend the day at Johnson Lake, the weather was great.  Needless to say and to please my boss I kept working.

I want to send some shout outs to the seniors at Eustis-Farnam and the large group of seniors and juniors I meet with at Elwood.  Also I want to wish good luck to the Elwood football team as they try to stay undefeated.  Also I want to say hey to the Kearney High folks, and Josh I am expecting to see you on campus for business or basketball day in November.

My big shout out for the day goes to Cassandra from Amherst, the food was spectacular, thank you.

Until next time.

Kory’s road diary 10/1

Hey everyone it is Kory, and I have been driving all over Central NE this week.  I would like to send a shout out to the wacky wildcats of Axtell celebrating homecoming this week, good luck.  Also I have to say hey to the ladies from Bertrand, I am hoping to see you guys on campus for nursing day on 10/10.

Here’s my awesome event of the week- the volleyball triangular at Cozad, with McCook and Cambridge.  Awesome matches.

Here’s my not so awesome moment of the week – travel between Kearney and Cozad, how long will the road construction last.  One lane travel is not cool.
